  • In this stage, articles are considered for inclusion based on title and abstract only
  • Default settings require any 2 team members to screen every record
  • When team members do not agree to include/exclude an article, the record will get sent to "Conflicts"
  • Selecting "Maybe" is essentially treated as a "Yes" vote
  • Conflicts will require one of the 2 reviewers, or a 3rd reviewer, to make a final judgment
  • If you're noticing a lot of Conflicts at the beginning of your screening process, it is a good idea to convene with your team members and reinforce clearly defined inclusion/exclusion criteria
  • This stage of screening can be done on mobile devices
  • Adding a note to a record will allow you to post comments for the rest of the team to see
  • Clicking Team Settings will allow you to see each team member's contributions (i.e., how many records they've screened)
  • Records cannot be "assigned" to reviewers. If you would like the work distributed evenly, the number must be divided and have reviewers keep track of their contributions. Keep in mind that all records must be screened by 2 people (example: If you have 2 people screening 500 records, each person will screen 500, not 250)
