Discovering Library Science & Health Literacy: A High School Push-in Program
In partnership with Mentoring in Medicine, the Samuel J. Wood Library has developed and piloted a medical librarian career pathway program for high school students.
Raising the awareness of young people to the opportunities within the field of library science is essential for attracting future talent. This toolkit provides a free open educational resource, including a curriculum designed for high school students aimed at educating them about the library science profession while also equipping them with foundational skills in health literacy.
