In-class activity: PubMed

  1. Use PubMed@WCM (also linked under Popular e-Resources on the library homepage) to search for articles on your research topic.
  2. Filter your search using one or more of the filters to the left of your search results.
  3. Review the first 3-5 results. How relevant do they seem? Be prepared to share and discuss your search strategy.
  4. From the search history, check the translations for your search. Did PubMed correctly translate all your concepts? Are any translations incorrect?
  5. Paste your search URL into the Google Doc and be prepared to briefly discuss your search with the class.
