Import from File - Covidence Knowledge Base: Imports

  • Import references as RIS files, either from EndNote or directly from the databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE, etc.)
  • Select which stage references will be imported into: Screen (aka Title/Abstract); Full-Text review; Included; Excluded; Irrelevant

Manage Imports

  • ​For each imported file, displays numbers for: 
    • Total added to ___ = total # imported into the review
    • References = total # of records in the imported file
    • Duplicates = # of duplicate records found (within the file and against any existing references in the review)
    • Errors = any errors during import that were not added
    • Imported = total # imported into the review
 
  • Duplicate records are automatically removed. Duplicates are found within a single import, as well as any other existing references in the review
  • Check Duplicates allows you to manually review any records removed as duplicates. You can flag as "Not a duplicate" and the record will be added back to Screen
  • Imports cannot be undone once any screening has occurred against one or more of the imported studies
